Sercotel Liabeny

This hotel was nicer than I expected. The room was a good size, well air conditioned, and very clean and comfortable. The staff and service were excellent. It is very well located in the center of Madrid, and off the main street so there is very little traffic and very little noise in general. It is just across Gran Via from the Chueca neighborhood. If you want to be close to Chueca, this is a much better option than staying in Chueca itself because Chueca is very noisy all night long, but this area is very quiet and only a couple of minutes walk away. Decent size room, very clean and very quiet. It was hot outside and the room was nice and cool. I slept very well.

There was some construction either at the hotel or next door that created a little noise during the day that worried me a bit, but it turned out not to be a problem. At night it was super quiet and not loud during the day.
