VERY CLEAN GOOD STANDARD OF ACCOMODATION.QUITE CENTRAL ONLY ABOUT 10 MINUTES WALK FROM PLACA DE CATALUNYA.

NO BAR IN HOTEL.

We realy enjoyed our stay at Barcelona and Apsis Splendid hotel. The best thing about the hotel was the location. Very close to all main attractions. The room wasn't very big but everything nessesary was avalible. (97634251)

Excellant Hotel, clean and bright public areas. The bedrooms had everything you could possibly need and the air conditioning worked really well. So much choice for breakfast. Situated only a few minutes walk from the centre of Barcelona. Lots of places to eat round about.Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definately go back. Good value for money. (99733968)

The Hotel was situated only a few minutes walk from Las Ramblas. The Hotel was well decorated and very clean. The bedrooms where excellant and had everything you could need.The breakfast was brilliant with lots of choice.

The only thing I could complain about was the wardrobe in the bedroom, the doors were frustrating to close as they weren't deep enough to accomodate the hangers once you put clothes on them.

Central position

The location was convenient for walking to central areas and also for the metro. The front desk staff were helpful and efficient. We appreciated having a computer available in the hotel with free Internet access. The room did have a safe, which apparently required a key. We didn't investigate further, but no doubt staff would have explained how to use it if we had inquired. Our one complaint would be the price of breakfast, which at 14 euros seemed excessive. The room was clean, uncluttered and spacious. Modern decor was attractive, and the view of the street from the window was an incentive to explore the neighbourhood. Nice bathroom too.

The Apsis Splendid has a great central location,bars and restaurants plentiful.15 minute walk to la rambla.Hotel staff were friendly and efficient, room good size, hotel was well kept and clean. (99490180)

The hotel is in a nice area of central Barcelona handy for the tourist attractions, but it is nice because it is down a quiet side street. The room was clean, modern and spacious. The staff were very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was excellent with a lovely choice of both hot and cold food. (99102952)

The staff were incredibly helpful especially during check-in. We were given useful information about local eating places, how to get around and the 'must see' sights

It was quite noisy. Perhaps guests could be encouraged to wear soft shoes to walk around their rooms. The sound reverberates through due to the wooden walls.

We had never visited Barcelona..and knew very little of Spain..so nothing would have helped..it was all new..and we found the people to be kind and helpful every where.........It is necessary to be sensible on the street, where ever you are, and outside the Splendid is no exception.. (99211009)
