Lovely location with views over the lake. Good breakfast and great value-for money. An enjoyable stay in a location that is central to exploring the area.

Be aware that the hotel building is old and tired. It's clean and adequate but the fittings are showing their age. This is reflected in their pricing which is very fair - in fact, a great bargain.

Website says to phone hotel to book a car, but doesn't state that the service is only available during the summer months. Airport was unhelpful regarding public transport alternatives and booked us their own car which was EXPENSIVE. We found out during our stay that we could have taken trains and local buses quite easily and very cheaply had we known which connections to make. Otherwise the stay at the hotel was pretty much as advertised. We didn't check out the spa/massage/sauna facilities. Food was great, bar was accommodating, locals were all very friendly and helpful. Great walking, boat trips and sightseeing. (97678656)
