The breaksfast that was included with the stay was the best I had in Italy.

I would like to have known about the parking which is far away and if you use the hotel parking it is 29 euros per night. We stayed in a lovely hotel in Modena (which had no elevator) but the staff carried up the luggage and parked the car in an enclosed garage next door for 5 euros. The staff should be more friendly and accomodating. Not even help with the baggage and despite several reminders for a wake-up call because we had an early flight, they neglected to do so. there is very little that I can recommend about this hotel. It is outdated, the service is almost nonexistent and the staff is not at all helpful. It was once a good hotel - now not at all. Also, there is no parking so you have to park your car several blocks away and pay 29 euros per night. The staff does not even help with the luggage.

The hotel is in a most convenient and central position, in the charming city of Lucca within easy walking distance of the railway station. It provides comfortable accomodation, and includes a good breakfast with cold meats, boiled eggs, fruit and rolls etc. The theatre is just across the square and the Church of St. Giovanni is around the corner. This church holds musical events every evening of the year. The city is a treasurehouse of works of art and has many excellent restuarants. (99441192)

Very pleasant overnight stay with positive ratings for room, level of cleanliness and staff service. A definite positive for return when next in the impressive city of Lucca. Most impressed. Thank you. (49282859)

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The reception staff were helpful and the breakfast buffet was very good.

The room was very small and rather tatty considering the cost.
