Great location

Very noisy at night

Everything was okay except the shower. Hot water (not scalding) is important to me so I would have to stay elsewhere next time. (108024008)

We had a wonderful time in Venice, it is a very beautiful city. The hotel (more of a hostal) was fine for us - a bit pricey perhaps but that is what you get if you want to stay in the middle of Venice and not in Mestre or Lido. It was well situated (near the stations and the centre), and clean. We stayed in the "shared bathroom" building, round the corner of the main entrance. (108091975)

This hotel had a very good location close to the train station and was very easy to find. The staff greeted us with a hearty "Bon Giorgno" upon arrival and maintained a positive,cheerful attitude our whole 3-day stay. The street the hotel is located on is the main path through town with plenty of shops, restaurants and activity right outside the front door. It was a short walk to the dock to catch the boat to other points of interest.

There was activity outside until late at night so it was a bit noisy. Also, tourists leaving early in the morning for the train station could be heard rolling their suitcases down the path. The room was adequate. The bathroom was somewhat cramped. The hotel lobby was up a flight of stairs with no elevator.
