Excellent hotel, hotel staff very helpful, close to leaning tower, close to transport links i.e., railway station and buses, hotel cleaniness, made to feel very welcome, excellent choice for breakfast, supplied takeaway breakfast for early departures to airport.

Safe in wardrobe was located too low, toaster at breakfast time broke and for the second week there was no replacement, extra 50% charge for booking transfer to airport between 4am and 7am (this was not displayed on notice about transfer bookings - only stated extra charge between 8 pm and midnight) but when queried it they let us have it at normal rate as we had stayed for 9 nights. (These points and not really bad - just annoying).

We appreciated the warm welcome we recieved when we arrived and the fact we were greeted by name by a manager even at the ungodly hour the flight left us to Pisa. The staff were approachable and very friendly. The bedroom was cool large and quiet. Our bags were minded while we strolled around Pisa before we left for Gargonza. For the money we spent we recieved 5 star treatment, the best of any hotel we stayed in this or last year. The breakfast was fantastic and the waiter was the nicest fellow ever. The stay couldn't have been better. The cleanliness, efficiency and location of the hotel was very good as was the hospitality of the locals. The wine bar caffe, Capatosta, situated on Via Palestro opposite to the opera house, is second to none for its food not to mention its coffee for which currently holds the winning trophy for the best coffee in Pisa. Also we can recommend the pizza's at the small pizza eatery in the nearby side street right of the hotel. (99435454)

The location was excellent, in the centre of Pisa and with a room at the rear of the building so it was very quiet. The hotel was very clean, staff friendly and helpful. Within walking distance of the leaning tower etc., yet also the rail station for those wanting to visit Florence, Siena and the seaside towns.

The idiot in a nearby first floor apartment over the hairdressers on the corner who periodically enjoyed throwing water over passing pedestrians - the hotel was notified so with any luck nobody else will get an unexpected soaking.

The Hotel provides a useful suttle bus from the airport/train station. It is 20 mins pleasant walk to the Leaning Tower. The Hotel staff are pleasant and helpful. It is a popular Hotel for stopovers/transient customers as it is only 12 mins to the airport. Pisa can easily be covered in a half day if time is short. . (99725874)

Good value central Hotel, very clean with a nice athmosphere. The brecfast room/ bar is gorgeous with clever frescoes on the walls. There is also a tranquil roof terrace to relax after sight seeing.

Rooms are well equiped yet lacking in luxury.

This was an overall good experience. Very helpful reception staff Room maid extremely honest. Found my wife's ring loved the wall painting in the breakfast room......2nd only to the Sistine Chapel nd the Last Supper! We requested a quiet room.....we were allocated a quiet room (99583241)
