Excelent from all points of view.

We had a great 4 day stay in Prague. I'd recommend the city and the hotel to others, the only warning I would give is not to expect good service or a smile from anyone! (97454156)

Location - Hotel is extremely central in pretty old town area and walking distance to main tourist points, yet nice and quiet and with a pleasant street view from rooms at the front Bedroom and bathroom - Immaculate, light and very spacious, must have been very recently re-fitted, everything seemed brand new, though we booked a standard I think our room no 203 must really have been a superior room

Staff - a little more effort such as a smile or a 'Hello' as you come and go would be nice, my friend asked for an egg 10 minutes before breakfast finished and was refused with quite a bit of eye-rolling! Although, if you compare the hotel staff to the very poor service by almost everyone else we encountered, they were better than average for Prague! Reception - Reception area was disappointing, could do with a make-over to match the high standard of our room Character - this hotel is new inside and has no character, which is a shame for such a historical city, however the bonus is that the room and bathroom were excellent Breakfast - fine for a weekend stay, but any longer and it would get repetitive

I would use this hotel again if staying in Prague. Location, room and breakfast good. (97838724)

The location of the hotel is very good, just 5 mins walk from the old Town square or St Wenceslas square. Interior recently refurbished, not luxurious but clean and in keeping with the grade and cost of the Hotel. Bathroom was to a good standard and bed linen felt crisp and new. Good breakfast buffet with wide range on offer and continually being replenished.

Only negative was the reception staff, effecient but not particularly customer friendly.

Hotel Modra Ruze is situated right in the heart of Prague. The location was fantastic: 1 minute walk from Wencelas Square, walking distance to most other tourist must-see sites (e.g. Charles Bridge), and close to a Metro station. An absolutely perfect location. I stayed in a De-Luxe double room and the room was of a high standard. It was very clean with good quality furnishings in good condition. The room was comfortable, airy and spacious. I recommend this hotel. (97133571)
