If the hotel had cost less, I would not have been expecting as much from it. The staff were great; the breakfast was quite good, and everything was acceptable, but for that much money, we were expecting more than just "acceptable." Definitely not as good as the other hotels we stayed at during the trip, which cost a third as much as this one. (97012485)

The location of the hotel was excellent, the
breakfast buffet was very good, and the staff was extremely helpful. They let us store our luggage at the hotel after check-out before our train. The decor was obviously from the 1970s, but the room was clean.

Considering the expense of the hotel, we were
expecting something nicer. The "triple room" was actually nothing more than a double room with a roll-in cot, not a room with three actual beds in it. The television was really, really tiny, and mounted high up in a corner--granted, we weren't there to watch television, but it was another example of how the hotel was less than we were
expecting, considering the high price tag. There were a couple of minor annoyances with the bathroom (the light took a strangely long time to come on, the shower didn't drain well). There was no air conditioning, which made it difficult to sleep well (had to keep the windows open, which meant the street noise came in.
