Perfectly adequate for an overnight stop with no frills!

The Hotel was advertised as having free WI-FI. There was none. I was offered a diel up connection but the French telephone sockets are different and my lead did not fit.
I would not stay here again as we found a superb Chambre d'Hotes in an old Chateau just outside Calais. Cheaper - breakfast included and you wake up to the sound of ducks rather than traffic!

I would definetly go back but would choose a quiter location with biger rooms as well as budget more as foods were very expensive. (107119662)

The staff we met on arrival was extremely
friendly, warm and professional. We all looked forward to seeing her on duty as she came across as being very experienced in her role. She was on late shift but unfortunately we did not get to say good bye as she was not on duty when we checked out. She told us about the local market and a few tips which were very useful. Rooms were made daily and to good standard. The
location is good, just few minutes from the beach and lively city centre.

We stayed in the only family room which overlooked a wine bar that stayed open until 3am every day. The grand finale was my worst nightmare as they chose to have a music festival which meant that we had to endure loud live music from 5pm until 4am. I was close to having a nervous breakdown as I could not sleep all night. The rooms are very small and my youngest daughter had to share our bed on the first night as no arrangement was made to have an extra bed in our room. Despite the fact that I was on my annual holiday, I felt that I did not really have a break due to all the sleepless nights

Calais is not the prettiest of French towns! On top of that the hotel looks very bedraggled from the outside. Inside though is at least clean and adequately decorated but the colour scheme (including shocking pink) was not really to our taste. For 110 Euro's for 4 people, I guess it's ok, but on a personal note it just wasn't my cup of tea. (97027935)
