The hotel was very nice (a little older but well kept and the bedroom had hardwood floors which made the place seem cleaner). The staff was excellent! So friendly, nice and helpful.

There was just one little packet of combination shampoo/body wash. It would have been nice to have more small toiletries and separate shampoo and body wash. Maybe a little conditioner also?

Hotel was very well situated, directly across from the train station, and close to a metro stop. The continental breakfast offered a nice variety of food items. The reception staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Elevator was a definite plus!

Ideal location for train / bus and airport bus drop off. If hiring a car for part of stay you can pick up at railway station. Friendly staff. Garage facilities cheap and ideal for keeping hire car safe, although only suitable for small cars not 4x4s. Breakfast is continental ie croissant, baguette, juice, yoghurt etc. Ideal for us, but not for those wanting a cooked breakfast. Although some undesirables nearby, didn't bother us and we spent most of the day away from the hotel any way. (97532979)

The hotel was an extremely pleasant surprise offering modern, spacious and clean rooms. I thought the price was an absolute bargain for a hotel of this standard. It's ideally situated directly opposite Toulouse Matabiau SNCF railway station and Marengo metro station on the opposite side of the Canal du Midi. A 5 minute walk takes you to the main shopping and eating areas. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. The rooms were equipped with good air conditioning units - a must in July and August in the Toulouse heat. I can't speak more highly of this hotel and I'd go back anytime. I've stayed in more expensive hotels and I can safely say this hotel beats the lot of them.

The only downside to this hotel was the breakfast which consists of coffee, other hot drinks, fruit juice, cereals and bread and jam/honey. I was disappointed there were no croissants or pastries yet the price of the breakfast is ?7 compared with around ?14 in other similar hotels but you can always choose to eat beakfast elsewhere.

The room was very cold.

Very easy to find from the bus station or the SNCF (train) station. Only a few blocks from downtown. We were greeted kindly on our arrival. The clerk was comfortable with English and made us feel welcome. Our room was nice, very clean. The beds were comfortable. We took breakfast at the hotel. Be aware that it's a continental breakfast: croissant, bread, jam and toast, cereal, coffee or tea. But no bacon and eggs or anything like that. (97929706)

French style pillow on the bed -- a long rope of cushion that's near impossible to lay one's head on. My son tells me that's just the way pillows are made in France.

Cheap, close to Train & Bus station.

The pillows were a little weird, their attached to the bed and are a tube shaped.

Breakfast was really good and properly arranged. Especially it was perfect for a vegetarian. Hotel staff was very cooperative and supportive. (97040164)

There was no heating in the ooma nd in the toilets. also, there is no water bottle in the room. Everything had to be ordered. At least one complimentry water bottle can be kept in the room.

The hotel is right opposite the train station, which is convenient for early departures. It's close to everything, and we were given maps on our arrival by the friendly staff. We would like to have known beforehand that they couldn't fit 4 of us into one room, but the hotel staff sorted it out and we weren't inconvenienced too much. (97798356)

We booked a room for 4 people but ended up getting a 3 bed room and a double!

The room wasn't ready when we arrived and the quick clean they did was exactly that - quick. It was cramped. Walking along the streets nearby we saw hotels with cheaper rooms.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Situation near the airport bus station was ideal for my needs. It was also only a short walk into the centre of Toulouse, where I had a good choice of restaurants still serving, even after arriving as late as 22:00. (97447986)

A clean, modern room with good -- not stifling -- heating. Excellent sound insulation and comfortable bed. I was also impressed by the energy-saving 'key' in the room.

The room, though clean and bright, was a little lacking in softer touches of decoration. I wondered whether it had been only very recently refurbished.
