Saint Georges Nice

We chose this hotel from a recommendation in Rick Steve's travel book for France. It was rated 2 stars which we would agree with. It was a good value and quiet. (99940142)

The room was a good size and very well decorated and very clean. The bath was large but the shower was very small. The location was good with a 15-minute walk to the seaside and about the same to the train station.

The owner/desk clerk was not very friendly and not very helpful when asked for recommendations.

Breakfast is not included and the lifts are an experience in themselves !! (99164634)

I had a quiet room at the back of the hotel. The staff were very helpful and the front desk people were very fluent in English
