Easy to locate, friendly staff, excellent value for money, single rate for double room, atmospheric bar and lounge areas, good food and choice.

Some fixtures and fitting show their age - could do with a makeover - but clean and tidy nonetheless and in working order.Could extend the Internet to all the bedrooms.

Noisy function Room

Even though there were some issues of cleanliness we enjoyed our stay. The hotel was quiet & the breakfast was excellent with very good service. Also only minutes from Limerick city. (97894178)

Breakfast was excellent.

Alcove in our room - window & surrounding paint work was filthy. Bathroom door was very dirty. The trouser press in our room did not work. Generally the paintwork in the corridor we were staying need painting as looked shabby.

I would recommend this Hotel to anyone who is looking for comfortable surroundings. The food was good, and the staff were friendly and reliable. It's location is good for exploring the city of Limerick and the surrounding areas. (97557621)

A hotel is a hotel, it's when the staff make the extra effort to welcome you that makes the difference. Staff at Woodfield House are excellent at making you feel at home.

Price, location.

Smell of smoking in room, hair dryer broken, fire alarm going off at 2am, and someone knocking at door at 7.45am, and staff member at check out in hurry.

As this was at the end of our two-week stay in Ireland, we had stayed at a number of other places throughout the southwest. Woodfield House was convenient and surprisingly inexpensive. While the hotel is a little on the worn side, it was comfortable, the food was good, there is lots of parking and a straight shot to the airport on the Ennis Rd. (97037870)

Excellent easy-to-access parking lot. Hotel itself was a great value with decent, clean rooms. Not too far a walk to the Limerick City Center (15-20 min) and then real ease in getting to the airport. We ate in the pub one night which was both good and convenient.

Hotel is a little worn about the edges and could use a little freshening.

Friendly & courteous staff.

Could do with redecorating the rooms. Noisy - Furntiure in bar being moved around at 1 a.m.! Simple things like no orange juice available at breakfast.

Everything went to plan ie finding the hotel, check-in, evening meal was barfood only but that was good, room was fine. The only problem we encountered was external noise from the rear of the hotel for most of the night ie youths talking. (97298091)
