Location suited my business appointments.
Use of the Spa facility was a bonus.
Meals were good.

Room on the front was noisy at night (from traffic).

Swimming pool was closed to children after 6pm. This contradicted the hotel info pack which said 8pm

Big enough for a family of 4. 2 double beds and one single in two rooms

We had a lovely stay at the Sheldon and were quite impressed by its decor. Although we arrived at 1 a.m. we were very impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Our room was spotless and everything was in good working order. Breakfast was good with a good variety.
On the downside it is beside an industrial estate and does not encourage one to partake in an evening (or daytime) stroll around the local area. The Sheldon could benefit its customers by providing a shuttle service into Dublin city or local areas. For safety sake we took cabs to and from the hotel.

Our room was spotless and the beds were quite comfortable. Bathroom was spotless with enough toiletries supplied to cater for the 4 of us.
We were expecting two double beds (to be shared by our children) but were very impressed to find a single bed in our room as well allowing our children a bed each.

Although the heating was on there was a strong draught coming in through the window.
