Overall enjoyed the stay - for a new hotel (2nd birthday celebrated while we were there) it was a bit hit and miss. Would stay again but would watch out to avoid the downsides. (107283542)

positive comments Good small gym/pool; handy for city (15-20min walk or regular bus); food generally good; good secure parking.
negative comments Very noisy air vent(?) right below bedroom window coming on and off at short intervals. Early bird menu non-existent in spite of being mentioned on menu, but there was a table d'hote, aimed at people with inclusive meals. We only ate once in the restaurant as the service was deplorable (fault in the kitchen, not waitresses) and I don't think the chef read the waitresses order as there were a number of mistakes made. Ate a few times in the bar (same kitchen etc) and much more enjoyable.

Limmerick was a fine city with very friendly inhabitants especially to opposition rugby supporters. Many great pubs for the young and old. Hotel is easily walkable from the center of town, all though we did not as it rained heavily for the time there. The reception happy to phone a taxi for you. All staff were found to be very friendly and helpful and hotel was clean and tidy, with good leisure facilities especially pool and jacuzzi. Very pleasurable stay. Thank you. (97536956)

positive comments Good value for money accommodation, clean and tidy with very friendly staff what ever their position.
negative comments Strange layout of hotel took some getting used to.

someone who knows how the hotel operates should be on reception. Anyone know a 3 0r 4 star hotel that closes a bar at 11-30 to residents ?? someone at reception questions you when you tell them there are no curtains in the room you are given a place to sit in the restaurant which is not conveinient as it is right by a door which is opened frequently, and having asked to be moved to an unattended table are refused.place is a joke (99706916)

positive comments NOthing much to be honest
negative comments First of all, no curtains in the bedroom and having to complain about new year celebration being cancelled

Great holiday, wonderful large room with a flat screen tv. It's an easy ten minutes walk from the city centre (bus station). The leisure club is very good but could do with some soap/shower gel/shampoo in the showers. I would go back to this hotel, great pub just along the road that is completely Irish! (97516272)

positive comments Good location, good hotel with excellent facilities - the bar food was excellent with very large portions.
negative comments There was no towels in our room on entry and there was a lack of toiletries in the room and in the leisure facilities.

positive comments Very clean, well furnished roo. Evrything in working order.
negative comments Nothing really. Apart fromthe fact that judging the hotel's quality the rooms could do with a digital/automatic temperature control. Also they should consider offering options like room internet, extra TV stations (such as sports, music, adult) etc
