It was at the centre of the city - 10 minutes from Rossio. Very clean and comfortable. And the people at the recepcion were very nice and friendly.

It was a bit cold, but in Portugal is this overall for us.

The place is situated uptown but conveniently reached via public transport - metro, bus, taxi. Room a bit small but otherwise clean. Bed is comfortable; other amenities adequate. Would not mind staying again if I travel light. (97475837)

1. Noisy at night due to its location. 2. Climbing the stairs to the third floor. Alright if you have no or light luggage, but could be a problem if you carry several heavy bags.

I liked Residencial Roxi. The people who run it are super nice and helpful. The location is pretty good being both right next to a metro station and a short walk from the major shopping and sightseeing locations. There's not much in the immediate neigborhood, though, except for the excellent Cerveceria Ramiro. My room was very clean and cute but it would have been nice to have a full bathroom in the room. This place is a fantastic value if you want to save money on lodging to spend it on shopping or Lisbon's awesome cuisine. (99656049)
