Séjour magnifique mais attention aux personnes à mobilité réduite , beaucoup d'escaliers malgré un maximum d'effort. (97636154)

Great if you like being on the beach,and using it all the time.Balconies would be better stepped to take advantage of the lovely sea views.The hotel was obviously tops in it's day.While it is still nice it is quite dated.None of this spoilt the holiday but I would not stay there again,I would use Rocamar,as I did last year.But,I repeat fantastic if you like a beach holiday. Great position,spacious rooms,good maid service,spotlessly clean.

Indoor pool was very poor,no sun terrace or outdoor pool.Great balcony sea view but closed in and shaded.

We had a wonderful 14 days at the Sol el Mar. To return to our hotel at 9 p.m. each night to find a resident pianist and guest artistes was unexpected and thoroughly enjoyable. We were delighted to find ourselves in the heart of Albufeira and a step away from all that was going on in the town square, the cafes and shops. (99644708)

We had a fair sized bedroom, sitting room and large balcony at the top of the hotel.

The hotel is in an excellent location and is good value for money. The only access to the swimming pool(which had no changing room)was by walking through the ground floor restaurant and there was little choice for the evening buffet meal. But apart from that we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. We will be coming back later in the year. (99247316)
