Before reviewing the hotel itself, it's important to note that even though you can check in here until midnight, you need to tell the hotel in advance if you'll be showing up particularly late, or there won't be anyone around to check you in. There is a phone number for such situations on the front door of the hotel, but it's obviously preferable to call them before you're due to arrive and let them know. This hotel was easy to find, with a lit sign outside (though it was a slightly longer walk from North Acton tube station than the directions suggest) and, while it's unsurprisingly not in the absolute best of areas, it's situated on the busy and well-lit A4000 so we didn't feel at all unsafe walking back at night. Once you've checked in you get a front door key as well as your room key, so you can return to the hotel at whatever time you wish without having to worry about being unable to get in. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and enthusiastic and made sure to explain all the details about the place to us. The room (a double) was fairly small; we just wanted someone to sleep after a concert so this wasn't a problem, but it would probably feel a little cramped if you planned on spending a large amount of time in the hotel. The cleanliness was good and everything seemed to have been well looked after. The bathroom, again, was small but acceptable, though there was a nasty drainage smell which made it unpleasant to be in there for too long; fortunately this couldn't be smelt in the bedroom when the bathroom door was closed. The double-bed was comfortable, with good pillows, and we had a peaceful night. We were awoken early by someone walking around in the room above us; this was the only problem we had with noise from other customers but you may want to bring earplugs if you want to guarantee an uninterrupted sleep. We didn't go for the included breakfast so can't comment on that except to say that it involves going next door to a café which apparently has a deal with the hotel. All in all, I felt that this hotel was good value for money. We were concerned that, for the price, we'd be sleeping somewhere run-down and dingy; instead, we got a clean and bright place to stay where the only disadvantage was the size of the room. Especially recommended if you're just looking for somewhere to sleep, and good for budget travellers. (107630830)

very reasonable price, and very near to where i needed to be for early starts.

heating was not working so very cold at night, also had flat screen tv in room, attached to wall, but it had been fixed to high, so could not see the LCD screen very well unless we stood on top of our beds. need to lower them.

The hotel is very basic. It`s a family hotel, with few facilities. The room is not very good. The hotel is situated in a residential area far from the centre and from the underground (it takes about 1 hour by bus and underground to get to the centre of London). But it has got a bus (24 hours) stop in front of the hotel. (107730240)
