I would definately use this hotel again, it was nicer than expected.

It was clean and tidy, and the reception staff were polite, friendly and helpful.

The room could have done with a better air freshner, it smelt like eggs!! At breakfast, the waiting staff didn't apprach me at all to offer me tea and coffee, and I had to guess, that I could help myself to breakfast.

It was like living in the 1800's with rooms to go with them.
If I had run this Hotel, I would be investing in to putting things right about it and not letting it fall down.

4 poster bed

Old, run down hotel with floorboards that move in the night.
Our bed was lifted of the floor by 3 blocks of wood, one of which was 4" in height.
Wallpaper habging off the walls.
Windows that let noise in, unsure about cold due to the time of year.

Breakfast was excellent, hot, well cooked and you could have as much as you wanted.Well done in this section.

THIS ROOM WAS NOT GOOD FOR A DISABLED PEOSON AS THE BED WAS TOO HIGH.
Every place must have a car park because normally you are travelling from place to place.Parking on the road is not a good thing wioth parking meters.

Apart from only a couple of minor points and out of date failing fittings the requirement of a visit from "Changing Rooms" would not go a miss (tired look and smell).

Close to ammenities and attractions, fantastic!!!

Never in my 22 years of travelling in between 2 and 5 star accommodation have I ever been to provide payment in full before being pointed towards my room. Hotel should be put on the Heritage open day list.

The breakfast was very tasty and although somewhat limited, everything was hot and nicely displayed on the self-service buffet. The staff that served us coffee and toast were friendly and helpful

good situation for hotel on sea front but not too noisy

no parking: reception seemed untrained giving us a key for a room that was already occupied: hotel needed general re-vamping - public areas and bedrooms all very dated and tatty
