It nearly did not happen because my booking was not notified to the venue. The late night recptionist was, however, concerned, efficient and helpful and I would very happily stay there again - but would contact them direct. (107834405)

positive comments The venue was clean, well run and very pleasant with a late night bar and excellent breakfast.
negative comments My on-line booking was not notified to the venue. When i arrived late at night they had no record of my booking and did not recognise the rate quoted on my confirmation from you. Luckily they had a room clear for two of the three nights for which I had booked and the receptions booked me in to their system promising to let me know if they had a cancellation which would enable me stay for all threee nights. In the event I cut short my stay instead.

positive comments Location - perfect for us. Great breakfast. Room fine. Friendly & helpful.
negative comments If only they had a SIGN saying the name of the hotel! Its says LUCAS as the hotel name - I was looking for the Conference Hotel.

Excellent - lovely breakfast and beautiful gardens (108028240)

positive comments Staff made every effort to change our 10-year-olds room so that it was next to ours - eventually moving all of us to another floor to accommodate this. They were so helpful, it was wonderful.
negative comments Probably because we were moved so suddenly, our shower did not work very well and there was no soap in the room. But we were so grateful to have Thomas beside us that this did not really matter and certainly did not detract from our stay.
