Lovely area. Freedom to come and go in Hotel

Facilities need constant checking. Needs new decor. 3 star on outside of hotel on brochure 4 star - confusing.

Warm welcome, spotlessly clean and atmosphere very relaxed. I will recommend to friends and family. Would have liked a sea view but the hotel was booked solid.

Very nice, very relaxing. It's a pity that the Activehotels web site still shows the American Express symbol when making a reservation at this hotel - they don't take Amex. Not a problem to us, but Ativehotels should get their web site sorted out. We stayed in one of the larger double rooms with a mountain view. A very, very nice room. (107210576)

Beautiful Victorian hotel, very well renovated and equipped, with very nice, relaxed friendly staff. Sea views, comfortable bed and lovely fluffy towels.

Beautiful building with lots of original features combined with all ammenities for modern day living. Friendly and helpful staff. Very civilised!

The only reason we didn't tick excellent for cleanliness was because of mould on the tile grouting in the en-suite shower room. Everything else very clean.

An all round very pleasant stay. Within walking distance of the town but far enough out of town to appreciate the beautiful mountain and sea views. (97417409)
