Breakfast was lovely and staff helpful. Room lovely and big and beds very comfortable.

Coffee cups in room not clean and no soap provided. There was hair in the bathroom and shower was not very good.

We were upgraded from a small double room as it suited the hotel to do this, so obviously are not reporting on the accommodation we should have had for the money we paid. (108005814)

After being made aware of delay in arrival to the hotel a quick phone call to inform a late arrival the staff arranged that the night porter would book me and my colleague in when we could make it. We subsequently arrived at midnight and were made welcome with the availability of a drink to wind down prior to going to bed. Excellent service.

Bath shower fitting old and difficult to use. Modernisation needed.

Room very spacious, newly refurbished, clean. Hotel staff (owners?) friendly.

Corridors in midst of decoration. Neither mirror in bedroom/bathroom had a light over or near it, so for shaving, makeup, etc, lighting was inadequate. Corridor light shone into room all night through glass over door which needs to be blacked out. The only soap dispenser in bathroom was over bath (none near handbasin). Water pressure of shower (over bath) was too low - to prevent water on floor? - fit a screen.

Shower, toilet and washbasin all in a single shower cubical. It all worked very well but after a shower you get wet feet when going to loo / cleaning teeth etc. Breakfast only very average, not very well cooked.
