comfy bed ..clean ...warm..Lovely breakfast.

Receptionist needs training in how to greet people and a better telephone manner when booking ie.less impatience. English people expect a level of politeness that was missing on this occasion.
A shower cap and a glass in the bathroom needed.
A bit noisy when tvs on in adjacent rooms....earplug supply??

nice hotel with newly refurbished rooms but they forgot to renew the most important thing in a hotel for a good night's sleep : the mattresses ! Excellent breakfast though and excellent rates too.

I have stayed here twice now - the double rooms are a lot better with still a tiny bathroom but PLEASE avoid the horrid single rooms!!
I have to admit the location is great and so is the price but please if you stay choose a double room (suitable for one person!) NOT a single.
(107301941)

Clean entrance. Clean towels. Loo roll is provided if you are small enough to sit on the loo in the tiny bathroom.

unhelpful staff, VERY small bathrooms! Found Toe nails on the floor along with a "clump" of black hair!? Bathroom floor not cleaned properly - probably due to tiny size! Hot water takes at least 5 minutes to come through the shower, sink really is too small, the large tap pretty much covers the sink!

Stayed twice at this hotel the same week as a single traveller. First time I got a large triple room with large bathroom second time a smaller but adequate single room with tiny bathroom where they managed to squeeze in a reasonably-sized and modern shower, a toilet (you have to keep the shower room door open to use it so might be a problem for older guests) and a small washbasin all in perfect running order but on the other hand the room itself had plenty of lost space. A desk and chair would have been nice in either room. All in all a good stay with ample street parking. Easy check-in, very good continental breakfast with fresh fruit. First hotel with instant coffee at B'fst but I must admit I preferred it to many freshly-brewed coffee available at other hotels. Would use again although I prefer to stay in Bayswater for the neighbourhood and good selection of restaurants. One tip : avoid the basement rooms.

refurbished bright and clean rooms, good breakfast with fresh fruit.
discreet but efficient staff

matresses were acceptable but only just, equipment of room : could do with a desk & chair since there is plenty of room available.

I asked for an extra blanket or duvet, but could only be provided sheets. I was told they had no extra blankets or duvets at all, and as the duvet was paper-thin this was very unsatisfactory.
(107190241)

Decent clean but bit run down hotel, pleasant staff, good breakfast. Seems like make-over is in progress but hasn't reached the rooms yet.

It stands out that they cant provide something as simple as an extra blanket.

(107116887)

I have been travelling to London once a month for the past 9 months, I have stayed in a wide range of hotels, and this is top of my list, rooms and bathroom super clean, staff most helpful, value for money excellent I will stay here again.

minor: no card facility to pay bill, hairdryer in room?

it was below average, it is only a 2 star hotel. you can have 4 stars for the same price in Hungary
(108089836)

relatively cheap, close to center, restaurants and to the tube

noisy, small room, bed wasn't comfortable, warm inside - no a/c, poor breakfast, no card acceptance - pay only by cash, only uk tv channels

Overall a good central London, clean and modern B&B hotel.
(107103039)

Good location, 5 mins walk from Earls Court tube, round the corner from the hospital on Cromwell Road. Recently renovated to offer clean, inoffensive, modern rooms - bit econonical with the space but quite adequate. (There are a few like this in London now, so staying in a tired, old dump isn't necessary these days if you are on a budget!) Breakfast was continetal and included almond and plain croissants, but sadly, instant coffee.

They asked for cash on arrival, without any advance warning. But they were prepared to wait three days, so I suspect they would use the card I had booked with if I hadn't given them cash. Service was ok, a bit disinterested.

Good, clean accommodation and friendly staff. Excellent value for money for central London.

The one criticism I would have is having to pay the bill in cash. Nowadays everyone prefers to use their card.

Shower was very poor.
I had to pay cash for the room as your hotel could not invoice our company and could only take cash payment.

Excellent place to stay !!! Great area and excellent value for your money, considering hotels near by were very expensive. Also, the hotel is close to the Underground, shops/restaurants so that was great also.

Stayed here 3 yrs ago, and the hotel needed "upgrading" then. The new owners have really done an outstanding job in painting, remodeling, and updating all the rooms/showers/amenities. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again. Staff were very helpful and the breakfasts were very filling. Loved having an electric water pot in my room to have water for tea/coffee which they provided. My room was immaculately cleaned each day. The bathrm facilites were very modern, as were the TV, altho the channels were limited.

When I arrived at the hotel, they did not have a copy of my internet reservation. Luckily I had a copy with me, and after a few mins they were able to rectify it. However, I was shocked to learn that they weren't authorized yet (as new owners) to take credit cards! No where on my reservation did it state that, so having to come up with the cash for a 6 night stay, really dented my travel money. I would also suggest that the hotel have some type of shelves in the bathrm/shower to hold soap, shampoo, towels etc. In the future, I hope the hotel will be authorized to take credit cards.
