Overall, if you are looking for a very cheap option and do not intend to be at the hotel that long, this is ideal. I arrived very late and left very early in the morning. Remember to take your own electrics ie hairdryer, iron if needed etc. Also if you are particular about your tea and coffee in the mornings I would reccomend that you take your own. Remberer, you get what you pay for. (97872687)

positive comments Staff were very friendly and helpful. Main room and bedding was clean and suitable for an overnight stay.
negative comments The bathroom was very small and could of been better mantained. ie. there was no lid to the toilet seat, the basin was very small, the shower was taped to stop leaks and the ceiling tles were partly open.

negative comments It was cold and the heating only came on in the evening, going off before we got back at 12.30pm and damp and beds were lumpy and sink so small it was almost impossible to use, and we did not dare to use the shower as the room was so cold and it looke da bit rough to say the least

I would recommend that anyone considering staying in Lowestoft avoid this place like the plague. (99678973)

As above, good value for money as all other hotels in the area will charge nearly twice the price. On the downside you only get a 'continental' breakfast, which is the posh name for orange juice, a slice of toast and your choice of cereal!!! (99967237)

positive comments Good value for money; we had a large room
negative comments Its not the Ritz, but then this is reflected in the cheap price

I booked this hotel merely for somewhere to stay the night as I had a meeting near Lowestoft on the Saturday and wished to visit Walsingham on the Sunday as part of my journey home. I had never been in Lowestoft before and it is not a place I would wish to visit. The hotel served its purpose and any shortcomings were not of great concern. In praise, however, I must add that the manager was very attentive and helpful and I have no criticism whatever of him. (99223287)

negative comments The bedroom sink was far too small and the plug could not be put in due to the chain being attached round a tap
Good

The hotel has a good location with easy access to most of Lowestoft. Staff were helpful. The hotel decor could have been more up to date but the price reflects this and therefore is overall good value. (99569186)

positive comments Good location for restaurants and shops and close to town centre. Good value for money. Free hotel parking.
negative comments Road works in area.
