Thought it was value for money though further away from the station than we thought it was (97643374)

Lovely to have tea and coffee making and breakfast facilities in the room.This meant no rush to get to breakfast in the morning.

Shower could have been a bit cleaner.

It was perfectly okay for me as these 'bad' points did not bother me; however I would be reluctant to recommend it for our more senior staff. (108017705)

The staff were friendly and helpful.

No breakfast is actually 'served' there. The breakfast is wrapped foods left in the room, which although I found adequate would probably not go down so well with those of a larger appetite. (A packet of cornflakes, box of UHT milk, a wrapped brioche and some biscuits.) There is no separate dining or sitting room where guests can eat outside of their bedroom. One of the showers was out of order, and there are no plugs for the basins or the bath. The kettle in the room is placed on a table which is not situated anywhere near a plug; it has to be put on the floor to use it!

The manager was extremely friendly, all the bedlinen and towels etc were fresh. The room was very good value for money

The shower in the room needs fixing and is not waterproof.

Although the owner was friendly, the it felt more like we were staying in someones beedroom rather than in a B&B. Furthermore, the house was undergoing major redecoration and has a strong cigarette odour. It was also insisted we paid for the accomodation upfront and in cash - this was not stated on the booking information. However, the room was smell free and was well presented considering the price. Breakfast was out of a packet (as described) but sufficed. Only issue was the toilet was dirty and the shower inoperable. It would take a little more attention to detail to make this B&B worth another visit. (97898813)

no english full fry up, website stated full breakfast and a bowl of cereal and tea does not co-oberate this, no heating in the room, tv was left unplugged and had to find unsafe wires ourselves in order to get it to work, not well sign posted looks like common house to the public.

The room smelt of the mould that was growing up the wall. There was only a hot tap - no cold. The shower was in very bad condition. 2 small towels - no soap! The electrics of the whole buildig was scary looked like it had been dfone by someone with abouslty no idea of electricity. Have nbeen thinking of reporting it! As we left we walked under the extension and saw the under neath of a bath above us thought he hole no one had yet filled in ( about 2ft sq) and it was leaking onto the floor - just next to the hole in the wall from the kitchen that had cable comming though to to the 2 plug holes on the outside !
