I have already spoken to the Genreal Manager. Staff in Bar were less than useful. Breakfast room was a disgrace, dirty and not what one should find in a hotel which was not full (97437280)

positive comments Very comfortable but kept up many hours by the noise of guests up and down the stairs outside my room. Woken up very early by the same.
negative comments Room in a very bad place next two stairs

this hotel is well run .it is on the doortep of the high st, it looks distinctive, with a lot of history.if NEWMARKET RACES are on this is the first to fully book, say nomore. And finally if you want to try a change in food tastes, cross the street , its all yards away. (97879600)

positive comments clean, with friendly staff. parking good.

negative comments The room was poor quality with aged fittings. Comparing with a b and b stay in a travelodge the facilities were poor and dirty as well as being worn. One towel was provided. Disappointing bearinbg in mind the cost is £20 more than a travellodge
