The staff were very friendly and the meals were very good; it's easily found and located very near the centre of town; the beds are slightly short for tall people, but certainly provide for a good night sleep (99717683)

the general decor of the main areas of the hotel was a little dated - but was in character.

This has to be the best small hotel in Scotland. It looks great from the outside. The bedrooms are excellent, the public rooms are all charming and very nice. The food in the restaurant both dinner and breakfast is absolutely excellent. Service from all the staff without exception is terrific. I love the place and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. I can not praise the place highly enough. (99873792)
