Booking procedure was fine

A room with a 4 poster bed was booked but on arrival this was not given to me. I booked a room with a 4 poster bed for my wife's 70th birthday so obviously was disappointed. When I asked the staff why we hadn't been given this room I was told we had been given a room which had just been refurbished. This was ok but not what I booked. Breakfast was also a disaster.

the hotel and staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for them, food was excellent and so was the service, couldnt believe our luck when we realizes how grat the place was.

Very good location and the bar and restaurant were very good. Room was also very large.

Reception wasn't manned so it was hard to find anyone to ask questions to and the furniture in the room was not very good quality.

Windows rattled all night in the wind. My sister's room had no heating first night & had boy racers and revellers outside until 2am.

We found that the hotel was run very well.The staff were excellent and very helpful.They made the stay at the hotel very relaxing.Will be using this hotel again. (97477071)

The room was very spacious and the hotel where situated was perfect for all the nearby attractions

the floorboards creaked very loudly every time you went to use the bathroom and the double bed was a little uncomfortable too

when we arrived at the hotel we were greated with great help and made to feel really welcome,all staff were really kind and nothing was any trouble a really enjoyable stay . we are thing of going back again in the near future the only problem we had was that the hotel has changed it name its now the pub on the prom well thats how we found it other than that all was good

The bar was cosy and comfortable, the room spacious with a luxurious feel. Breakfast was superb with a wide choice of items.

Inadequate lighting in the en suite, the tap on the bath kept falling off (in the first room I stayed in) and the doors were difficult to open (maybe these are being replaced in the process of refurbishment??)

all the information on the net was accurate there was scaffolding up but this didnt fault the hotel it was still clean & service was excellent & i hope the extention to the hotel goes well & we will defently be returning in the future.the room was large with separate room for the children home from home realy.all mod cons tea making shampoo & soap dispencers clean towels & fresh linin. The room was large and spacious - also well eqquipped

We went for a relaxing weekend break over the new year, we couldn't fault the hotel or its location, it was very clean and the rooms were spacious, however the locality is probably best visited in the summer peak months when there will be more restaurants open. (99454630)

Very large spacious room, directly opposite the seafront and local amenities

The stay was a surprise for my husband for his birthday. The internet site was very informative but we were still pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room. The food was excellent and the service very good. The receptionist organised a taxi for us and was very helpful. Very pleased - 10/10. (99411107)

Excellent stay, will definately be using again. Pleasant friendly staff looked after us well. Delicious breakfast in morning which was served till a very respectable 10am, and when we rolled up at 9.45am there were no grumbles just a yummy scrummy full english.
