Really first class for cleanliness. Breakfast was good and filling. Although there was no parking at the front of the hotel, except Saturday and Sunday, there was adequate parking down a side street at the side of the hotel. Also the hotel was on a main road with an exceptional amount of buses passing by into Edinburgh City. Well worth the money. I wasn't sure if this location would be in a nice neighborhood or close to economical transportation. However it was located in a great neighborhood with a bus stop less than a block away with buses going directly to the city center. The room itself was very pleasant and the shared shower room was always well maintained. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others either traveling solo or as a couple. The room was large and fine for four persons.

The room was not especially clean. It was rather dusty. The bin in the toilet was not emty when we got to the hotel and is was not emtied before we left two days later. The cups in the room was not changed after the first day. There was no where to place the towels in order for them to dry until next morning. They were placed on the radiator which was cold.
