quiet, moved to another room when hot water did not work

some things in room didn't work and decoration/carpets looked 'tired'

We did enjoy our short stay in the hotel & the faults would not put us off staying here again its just we think you should know the faults so you can improve the hotel for future users.Hopefully when we return there will be improvements. (107677189)

The staff were all very friendly & cheerful & the food was good. The bedding was nice & clean & the room was tidy.

No hot water in our room & bathroom was freezing cold. The ceilings had stain marks on them which did not look good. The window starting raining in & dripping on the carpet as it rained heavy. Also you could here people in the other rooms using the W.C as well as the chain being flushed.

Modern hotels are clean and comfortable but robotic in their customer services. Hotels with history tend to haved a more friendly and personal atmosphere. This hotel has good staff who want to deliver good service. It is the maintenance and purchasing decisions that are letting it down. (108019801)

Windows screwed closed, no ventilation, bathroom extractor not working, poor repair of doors, smoking rooms, cheap uncomfortable beds, in serious need of redecoration and an uplift

my wife and myself were very happy at this hotel [ i wish all hotels treated there guests as they do at this one (97925542)

i found all staff members to be helpful, and generally i liked the place . We have friends in the area and when visiting them we will be staying here again

the only bad point was the blind fell down in the bathroom , but when i informed them about this, Within minutes [ and yes it is true within minutes a member of staff was there to look at the problem ]. For me showing this attention to your guests is what brings them back

Had no problems with hotel, my mistake was that i should have choose one closer to where i was working, not 16 miles away. The hotel was a pub hotel and apart from being next to the local take away shop and the boy racers giving it rock all outside my bedroom window at all hours .... it was OK (97814173)

Got woken early, around 5am, as Thursday is market day & the stalls are right out front of the hotel. Floors a bit creaky & had to change rooms as there was no hot water in mine. Good choice of restaurants within easy wallking. (97949084)

nice old inn in a good location - very convenient

the room needed a good airing and the bathroom a good scrubbing down to remove the mould - and probably the extractor needs servicing
