More photos to view online beforehand would have been helpful, but we took a chance and got pretty much what we expected: good basic accommodation with all the usual bits and pieces that you would expect of a Blackpool b&b. We only met one of the proprietors - the husband - but he was a very friendly chap who bent over backwards to help us in every way he could. The hotel is superbly sited for the Pleasure Beach, too! The politeness of our host

The hotel stay was lovely the owners were a nice polite and friendly couple and the hotel itself was kept very clean an tidy, we had 2 rooms an both were nicely laid out we have 3 children age 15, 12 and 6 an they all enjoyed there stay (which if you have kids will know its no easy job to keep them happy)... we booked for the dance festival and will be booking again next year.... highly recommended (97367520)

Both proprietors were helpful and friendly. They suggested an excellent evenng eating place, the Jade Delight. The hotel was quiet and I got a good night's sleep. The room, a double was comfortable if a little cramped. The radio did not work although the television did. Front garden was well planted hinting that the owners cared well for the hotel. Wouild have preferred slighly more room in the toilet / shower area.

Told to be down for breakfast first 2 mornings 9.00 - 9.30 on the day of departure we were told that we were to be down for breakfast 8.00 - 8.30. This is very inappropriate, not how it is usually done. We felt they needed to bear in mind that people were actually there on vacation/short break. (99048590)

It was very clean, and the owners were very hospitable.

The stay was very nice, the hotel is situated near Waterworld, so that was great however the walk into the main part of town was hard with the kids. The room was clean and tidy but we found it slightly small for the four of us. The people were very friendly and the breakfast was very nice. (99276126)

We were greeted in a warm, freindly & helpful manner, assistance being given with luggage to our rooms. Our hosts could not have been more pleasant, and we enjoyed an excelent evening in their company in the cozy lounge bar downstairs. Look out for the clown trousers whilst enjoying the excellent FULL English breakfast. We will be going back to see them again, next time for a lomger stay. (3305165228)
