Overall we had an enjoyable stay. We didn't like the room initially booked and the receptionist worked really hard to help us find something we liked. All the staff were friendly and wanted to look after us at all times. We booked treatments in the spa which were also good. We were disappointed that we could not have lunch in the restaurant (not open on Saturdays). The website could have provided much more information about the different rooms and the hotel in general - thi would have helped us to get what we wanted. Overall a successful visit. It is expensive. This is my favourite hotel anywhere. I have stayed several times in different rooms and the word delighted isn't out of place. The bed is the widest and most comfortable; this time the TV was a new top-brand 26 (I think) LCD; pleasant view over the lawns; very restful. (99426527)

The hotel is very impressive and I really felt like the 'lord of the manor'. The grounds are lovely and ideally I would have liked the time to walk around them before I had to leave. I was surprised to find so few other guests there midweek, but enjoyed the opportunity to talk with them around a log fire. (99824737)

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel is beautiful set in stunning grounds and the breakfast was well worth getting up half an hour early for. My room was called Ribbons and it was quite large with a huge double bed, it also had a good sized LCD TV with two comfortable arm chairs to watch from. I will be using this hotel again when next in the area. (99393455)

Hintlesham Hall is how you would want the English Country House stay to be. It's got that understated elegance of tradition and class that a lot of hotels in this country have lost. You feel you are being served rather than processed. (99809925)
