Room appearred damp on arrival but was not bad to sleep in. Shower looked damp and inhygenic (masic had mould growth on it). Shower was cold and stayed cold. On complaining to the desk was told that 'The hotel could not be held responsible for that.' No evening meals (chef ill) so it was a walk into town on a very wet night to eat.

Friendly staff although a bit rushed off their feet. Relatively cheap accomodation and very well located.

The whole hotel was dirty and unkept, particularly the rooms which was a shame. Bedroom surfaces were sticky and some had dirt still on,and the bedroom floor did not look as if had been hoovered for a while! Choice of continental breakfast was poor.

For the price, the property was, at best, fair value - the tired, dirty condition however means that I could not recommend this to anyone else. (99678643)

The decor in our room was depressing and the bathroom decor also needed attention. I think they may be refurbishing the place? The other people in our group were okay with their room, although we all felt that for the standard of accommodation the cost of each room - without breakfact included - was slightly overpriced. the fact that we was told to change rooms after one night. the second night was spoilt because you could smell the cooking of chips in our bedroom the following day there was a smell of stale cooking oil

The hotel was smelly. There appeared to be drain problems, the room next to mine appeared to have a problem as the door was left open. The TV was antiquated, no remote, like a prtable with poor channels & then only 4. The tilet had a problem flushing & the coffee making facilities were limited with milk a little past its best.
