Just a bit out of the City Centre but good taxi service and bus service. Query over time of departure - cleaning staff arrived at 11.00 am and I understood we had the facility until 12.00.

Edinburgh is a vibrant and lively City with lots of attractions - always plenty to do whatever the weather. Consulting an events diary would have been great before the visit - we could have planned a whole day doing a walking tour of the highly entertaining Cow Parade located throughout the City. The accommodation is so handy for the City that hiring a car at the airport seemed almost a waste - finding out the costs of bus/taxi transfer from airport and daily bus passes would have been useful in advance.
