Very good we will definately stay again on our next visit. We would recommend this hotel.

Position of the hotel excellent and easy to find. Excellent parking facilities. Good breakfast, clean room, friendly, courteous and smartlooking employees.

Staircase near the reception area scruffy. Did not look like it had been cleaned during our stay.Would help if the hotel had an automatic door from the car park. It was very difficult to get through the doors with cases.

Very good.

This place is in an excellent location, has nice sized rooms and good food (excellent food according to the 9 year old). There is a lovely garden in the back and a fun, old world look to the main building. The staff was friendly and were helpful with recommendations. The kids especially loved it (beautiful according to the 9 year old).

The rooms were stuffy, no good ventilation.

On the whole a very satisfactory stay. We found the hotel to our liking but perhaps fans in the rooms would make it more comfortable in the summer months

It was a lovely hotel, fab central location. The staff generally got it right.

Location was excellent and the re-furb was well executed.

None apart from getting my name wrong on the room reservation.

I think our stay should have been at a lower cost due to the mess and noise of the building that was going on.
(97707019)

The refurbishment that was going on was quite disruptive. The builders started working just before 8am also. The car park was very poorly lit and dark, i'm glad i wasn't travelling alone.

Even though there was work going on in the hotel, it didn't really cause any disruption.
The only fault we could find was at breakfast on the Sunday morning. The service was slow, and the right hand didn't seem to know what the left hand was doing. We weren't the only people to notice this!! Apart from this, everything else was fine.

Very comfortable bedrooms. Nicely decorated. Tea and coffee facilities very welcome.

Bathroom a little bit too small - but hey! - how much time do you spend in the bathroom.

Great location. Just a few minutes easy walk from all the amenities.

Some rooms required modernisation.

The hotel is in the middle of a refurbishment. We had a refurbished room which was nice with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was well cooked with good service. We have stayed at this hotel many times as we have relatives in Stratford but first time since being taken over. Alternative parking would be useful for anyone not knowing the area. Overall a very pleasnat experience with quick and effecient staff.

Location excellent for town.

Parking can be a problem at the hotel - limited spaces.

The first impression of the hotel, doorway and lift was for my friends very off putting. I have stayed at this hotel before and have always felt very comfortable and knew I would enjoy my stay. Although I understand that the hotel is under going a re-fit I think you could try and clean up the entrance and lift ares.

Central location, good breakfast, restaurant staff very friendly

Looked a bit grubby, but in the process of refurbishment

We would have liked to have known that it was a set menu for dinner there was really no choice at all. As I do not eat a lot of meat I felt I was basically forced to have chicken because the menu was rubbish.
Like we said before the bedroom was small and the stairs very steep with no lift. (Not very suitable for a disabled person, which I am. I never requested ground floor as I have no problem using a lift and I do not like to make a fuss.
The bath was too steep for me to climb over so it was lucky we were only staying a night and not longer.

The bed was comfy that was about it

For the money that was paid we felt the quality was very sub standard, there was limescale all over the shower and was very very basic. The room was very tiny (my fiance had to climb over the bed to get to the bathroom)

The accommodation was lovely in a nice location, and the staff were very helpful, overall a very enjoyable stay other than the slight moans mentioned above.
(3304613953)

i thought the room was lovely,a slight moan was that I felt the net curtains should have been washed as they had mould on them. Also didn't appreciate being woken up at 7 in the morning by the refuse collection lorry.
