Nothing to put me off using Premier. Infact i much prefer it to going Bed and Breakfast as was origionally intended.

Faultless within the hotel itself

Not enough disabled parking spaces. Only three for 200 + rooms and they filled quickly

hotel rooms good. Our leisurely sunday Breakfast was completely ruined by lack of staff, food, crockery, cutlery
(97815150)

comfortable bed. cleaners very friendly. restaurant staff kept their cool under tremendous pressure. ample parking, friendly booking in staff.

still cleaning rooms when we arrived after 2.00pm breakfast- absolute farce.I was unable to have breakfast of my choice as there was no food for continental breakfast, no cutlery, had coffee at table with n o saucers, had to share spoon with three people. no juice in jugs, told it was eat as much as you like breakfast, husband wanted two sausages, told he could only have one. Went to breakfast at 9.30 was not given cutlery until nearly ten o clock. understaffed, only two serving staff to look after a fully booked hotel. Hotel blamed as restaurant said no knowledge of how many for breakfast, although did have a print out of list which they ticked our names off.

big room, good shower

no breakfast even though we booked it. They stopped cooked breakfast before 10am which was when it finished. we got there at 9.45am. We booked this hotel especially because we knew they did cooked breakfasts.

Overall,
our stay was reasonably satisfactory and I would recommend Premier Travel Lodge accommodation to our friends and relations.
(97011669)

Very comfortable bed and pillows. Good environmental control/ heating system.

Not enough tea and coffee sachets provided in the room. (only enough for one cup each person).
Worse than this, there was no bath/ shower cream left in the dispenser. ( a minor oversight on the part of the staff but very inconvenient if you dont bring your own, which we foolishly hadnt thought would be necessary). You live and learn dont you?

The room was very large and also very clean which was a good sign when we first walked in. The ebd was extremely large and comfortable. The only complaint was that as it was a little warm we neded to have the window open which meant a lot of noise from the motorway nearby which was a little annoying at night. Overall though, no complaints at all
(3305302388)

Clean, large room, nice bathroom with good shower, large comfortable bed

noise from motorway, no sky tv

We have stayed in Premier Lodge accommodation previously and have always found the rooms perfect for a short stay. We found the hotel at Eaton Socon was of the same standard - clean, comfortable rooms. The pub adjoining the car part is a very pretty, very old coaching inn. We did not eat there on this occasion but have had a meal there in the past and found the food excellent, the choice was varied and the prices very reasonable. The Lodge is well placed for access to a wide variety of places of interest (leaflets for some of them were in our room) Anyone staying there should have a trip into nearby St. Neots (5 mins away) a very attractive little market town with beautiful river walks.
(3305207570)

Very spacious room; comfortable beds; bedroom and bathroom very clean.

Minor point. A smaller mirror above the dressing table would have been useful for doing makeup and hair.
Anonymous (Mature couple) 30 August 2006
The hotel was very easy to find, the lady on the reception was great. Would use the hotel again if in the area. Probably wouldn't use the Chef & Brewer attached though as it was dissapointing.
(3305252321)

Good size room. Huge and comfortable bed. Nice to have a full length mirror. Plenty of sockets by the dressing table.

Not having a bar of soap! Fine if you are having a shower there is shower gel mounted on the wall but if you have a bath, you can't reach the shower gel.

There are 2 Premier inns off the same roundabout, and we went to the wrong one at first. If we had known before that there were 2 in such close proximity, we would have been more observant!
The other strange thing in the room was the pillows. They had been folded in half, and then put inside the pillowcase. I had to unfold them to make them comfortable. I have never seen this done before.
Final small quibble. There were only 2 teabags, which seemed a bit penny pinching.
On the plus side, the shower was probably the most powerful I have ever experienced. Wonderful!
(3304381403)

Temperature control in the rooms and value for money.

Had to go outside in teeming rain to get to pub where breakfast was served. A covered walkway would be good.

It seemed in a very strange location, unlike its sister unit across the road, but it was very quiet, and easily accessed. We especially enjoyed the pub food situated a few yards from the hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful. It would make a good base for sight seeing around the area, although we didn't have time for that. Would definately stay again.
(3304928346)

It had all the basics, was clean and tidy.

No extras like hair dryer, fortunately it was hot. The shower was a bit tempremental
