In general the hotel was ok. However we were one couple (my husband and I) and two women friends. As my husband gets up in the night to use the bathroom, we elected to stay downstairs on the fold out bed but this meant that my friends had to share a double bed. Either option is not satisfactory. For one thing the kitchen living area is so small that having to put away the bed each day was a nuisance. There is inadequate space in the kitchen area for 4 people. The 'flats' are probably ideal for two people but not for 4. At least an option of twin beds would be desirable. As well, did the architect/designer try to sit on the toilet in that small space? If he/she did they would have found it was almost impossible to sit without one's knees hard up against the wall! NOT good. (97797898)

Clean and tidy.

A list was supplied of all the equipment in the kitchen but it was not complete and as the instructions said to inform staff if it was not so, I did. I was told that it didn't matter as we were only staying three nights. However, there were four of us and I had to request missing items - there were only three spoons and knives for example. If the list is important then all the items in the room should be complete. I didn't like the inference on the form that if there was anything missing I would be charged for it.

It had all the amenities of a hotel room, such as towels and bed linen with much more space and facilities for self catering when required. It is useful to have a fridge in any hotel room, if only to store milk for a morning drink. (97687257)

It had very hot water in the shower.

Signing was extremely bad. I spent two full hours and three phone calls to find the hotel. Water had a strong and repelling smell. No boiler for tea water ( do not drink coffee). Water quality would have kept me from drinking it anyway. No cosiness in any detail. Strictly functional.
