Our overall stay was amazing, the bed was so comfy!...I would have liked to know that the room did not have a bath before I came because the shower isnt that romantic as a bath, this is proberly one of the reasons I would not choose this hotel if I was to stay with my partener. But with friends it is a definate yes! (97968931)

positive comments The staff where very friendly ,customer service very efficent. The bed room was displayed nicely with luxury cusions and silk bed cover. Breakfast was deliscious full endglish in a lovely decorated resturant and to top it off the breakfast staff provided excellent customer service. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Initialy we were given a room that was rather cramped, dark and stuffy. The Shower cubicle door was broken. However we were given another room straight away which was nice and bright. The pillows were shot and really do need replacing woke up with a headache and stiffneck. Every thing else was fine. (97070429)

The hotel has an excellent central location and an outstanding cocktail bar. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, though a bit hot and noisy. (99040170)

Generally my stay was satisfactory with good, helpful and attentive staff, and comfortable facilities but I would like to have known that I couldn't smoke in the room (I'd asked for smoking and then found the hotel was non-somking in the bedrooms) and I would like to have known there was no lift at the time I was staying. When I got there and realised the lift situation I asked for a room on the 1st floor but was told there were none available (and not a lot of trouble taken to find out). Coming down the stairs from the second floor I found my hand covered with brass polish and dust from the wooden bannister rail underneath. So much so that I had to return to my room to wash my hands! positive comments The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and attractive. Ensuite facilities were good and I liked having two toilet roll holders so if one ran out it didn't matter (like it does in many hotels where you have to ask for them). The free bottle of wine was welcome and so was the ease with which I could book a room service meal. Generally staff were excellent, helpful and friendly.
negative comments Bulbs were missing from the shower room lighting and in the room. On my hand I picked up brass polish from the stair rails on the way down to breakfast and had to return to my room to wash my hands. There was no lift working. Cleanliness in the common parts (stairs, lobbies) not good. Lighting in the bar and dining room poor.

The hotel reception and bar is lovely, it has a rather sophisticated look to it, very relaxing & comfortable. The loaction of the hotel is fab its within walking distance of the city centre shops, bars and the Albert Docks. I would come back!! (3305097825)

positive comments The location of the hotel and the hotel bar & restaurant.
negative comments The room I was in although comfortable was rather small and the bathroom basic.
