The menu and quality of food in the restaurant was excellent the breakfast was adequate, overall the only disapointment was the bar and restaurant staff who were very young and gave poor service. (3305240109)
The location being right next to the river was excellent,the town centre was within easy reach of the hotel. I booked a double room which was on the small side,being 6ft tall I found I could not stand upright to go to the toilet.The top floor rooms seemed to have no insulation every word was heard including the T.V. clock radio at 3am until 5am after a 5 hour journey you expect a good night's sleep.We had 2 bad nights.we are quite often down in that area and iam afraid to say would not risk staying again.Maybe the rooms on the first floor could be better.I could see a lot of money has been spent and do not intend this e mail to do you any harm but overall that was our experience. The Room was fantastic Non really, although I did find the Chef's cooking wasn't as good as it could be.
