I thought the breakfast was too expensive, so we opted not to have any. The room is reasonably priced but several couples who stayed locally only paid (108078991)

The staff were friendly and the hand and body wash in the shower was a welcome surprise.

There was only enough sugar provided for a single hot beverage and only 1 T-bag. Also a bottle of water (even a small one would be a nice option). We got back from the wedding late evening and only had one pillow each. Most hotels we have stayed at, have extra ones in the wardrobe so you don't have to fuss about requesting more. The room was quite clean although we did find 4 spiders during the 35 minutes we spent getting ready.

I was a late check in - just afetr 10:00 and I was very disappointed that after 10:00 were only sandwiches available. Some simple hot food would have turned around my adequate rating. (97178170)

Lighting not really good enough to read in bed. Because the hotel was fully booked, we were accommodated in the disabled room and would have welcomed being able to fold away the handrail round the toilet-we wondered if it was located appropriately for a disabled person as it seemed so close to the toilet!

Stale cigarette smoke on the pillows. Very noisy - staff talking outside room in small hours and also a lot of noise from next door rooms and upstairs. Room service - expensive and the bread was curling at the edges

Romm was a decent size and close to the people that we were visiting

Staff were not very friendly and did not offer an apology for the fire alarm being set off by the toaster at 9am on the Sunday morning. I understand that it wasn't their fault but they didn't offer an explanation or apology on checkout until asked by myself what had caused the alarm.

This is a fairly standard hotel with the facilities you would expect. It met our expectations with the exception of cleanliness in the bathroom. As I stay at many hotels the decor is a little in need of updating, and the morning breakfast was a little below par. Checkin staff excellent, all were polite, and keen to help. (99134549)

Excellent value in an efficiently run hotel.

The hotel is just off the A14 and easy to find. Reception staff were warm and welcoming and checked if we required a table for dinner. The room was quite large, clean and airy. The bathroom was beautifully clean and had a good selection of miniature toiletries. The only strange thing was we had three bath towels rather than two bath and two hand towels, but this was not an issue and I am sure it would have been sorted if we had reported it. The price of breakfast was not displayed in reception nor as far as I could see on the hotel guide in the bedroom.

I have to say that I was disappointed with the dining room. For my evening meal I had to ask for vegatables after my meal had been served, vegatables should have been offered at the time of order irrespective of them being an additional item on the menu. The staff could not have been more helpful. First the got me into a room an hour before my due time, giving me time to have lunch and not be rushed befor going to a wedding.
