Staff at the hotel told us the room was unpleasant because it was a standard room but they did give us cleanish pillows. Staff were friendly but did not make up for a horrible room. room 46 should be avoided. The location is brilliant both for metro, eateries shops and markets. And yes the lift is tiny but has a glass door and worked well. The stairway also tiny and dirty.
(99821983)

The shower worked very well Towels were clean. The location of the hotel was very good

There was only a tiny cupboard to hang clothes. Nowhere to put a case. The mattress and bolster were both very stained/dirty.

When we arrived we were booked into a room which was totally unacceptable. Looked like a 1960's British guest house. Shower was broken - I complained and was told to 'leave it with them' but was then told they couldn't repair it and handed me the keys back. I told them in that case I wasn't staying as the rooms were not as shown on the internet. They then found an 'executive suite' for both myself and my friends which was maybe not executive but very accepatble for the price. I would only recommend this hotel if all rooms were of the standard of the one to which we were moved.

I've stayed here previously, it is convenient to the station and metro, the staff are helpful and the rooms are clean. On this occasion there was a problem with the shower screen, so the bathroom flooded from showering; but this wasn't the case on other stays.
(99517853)

Shower screen didn't prevent flooding of floor and bathroom fan didn't work so showering left water on the floor. This wasn't true of other rooms on previous stays.

We liked the price and area we stayed in. Area was calm and quiet at night. Reception was good at arrival and depart. Good Transport nearby to see Paris. Good price if you don't want to stay in all day, ie get out each day to sightsee. Breakfast was included but small and what you would expect fro the price. Family enjoyed the time there. Clean and tidy Hotel.

We loved the location, calm, quiet area at night, easy to get metro transport around city. Rooms were recently renewed. Bathrooms neat and clean. Good price for family of five. Good reception on arrival and leaving. Great for an economic holiday.

Breakfast was included but not great for children. No heated food.

Deu to the price and the number of stars, I did not expect much, but I found the hotel nice and comfortable. Some may find it a bit noisy during night, if there is someone next to or above your room stays late. Most of the staffs' attitudes were often impressive.

The elevator is brand new for a hotel of 02 stars. The bathroom was very clean and beauty. The local is great with many restaurants and bars around the hotel.

No air conditioned and I had not how to keep the windows opened with the courtine closed. They could review it due it was hot and I did not want to let the window completely opened. The inside color of the hotel is not beauty, they could change to white.

Breakfast offered no variety and plain. one croissant, baguette, orange juice tea+coffee. The room looked like it had just been redecorated. Not every big, but nice and clean. The location is great with not many tourists. It's directly beside the montparnasse (?) so it was very difficult to get lost! I would def stay here again, although a word of warning-there is a small 'park' outside the hotel where drunks seem to conjugate. However they were harmless and didn't cause any bother. If you are travelling here get the metro to Edgar Quintet (line 4 or 6)There is a market here which is cheaper than other markets in paris and lively at the weekends.
(3304369628)

rooms were clean, great location within walking distance of almost eveything, metro station round the corner, the area was not as expensive in comparison to the rest of paris.

there were no tea/coffee making facilites

You can hear guests in other rooms especially late at night. Also street noises - no insulation. The situation of the hotel is good for seeing Paris. The Hotel could do with immediate redecoration
(3304276366)

Most staff were friendly. Very convenient for Metro etc.

Decorative state. Poor breakfast - small bit of baguette and a croissant No extras offered. Bidet on wheels!! Ceiling plaster coming off.

Excellent central hotel. Useful for site seeing. Great transport links to/from Montparnasse. Friendly staff and rooms of a decent size. Excellent showers. Downside is that a taxi to Charles De Gaulle airport can be anything from 40 to 67 Euros! Would recommend arriving and leaving in non rush hour if possible and taking public transport, or go for the convenience of a taxi/pre booked van if a lot of people travelling in a family group. In hindsight would have rented cars from Hertz to go via the Perpherique to/from the airport to the hotel, especially if going to travel further afield outside Paris, and especially as car rental places are all close to the hotel for drop off.
(3304278924)

The rooms were very large by Paris standards. Breakfast was included in the offer we took. The hotel as per its name is very central, close to Montparnasse station/tower, several metro stations and Hertz car rental, so is very convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of food establishments close by were open til late.

There is a small lift, so be prepared to take the stairs. Ear plugs come in handy if you are a light sleeper. No coffee and tea making facilities in the room, although I've found this to be standard practice in France.

Overall, a good buy, I would return again. Clean, comfortable, value for money. Great location in Paris. Just ask for a quiet room at the back - and take a travel kettle if you're English and like your tea!
(3304186638)

Standard of room (Superior Room)was good, if a little small - comfortable bed and very clean; nice, modern bathroom. The staff were very helpful and polite and all spoke English. Nice, basic breakfast (tea/coffee/chocolate, baguette, croissant, butter, jam). Excellent location, near loads of bars and restaurants, shops, cinemas (and the odd sexy DVD shop if you like that sort of thing). Can recommend nearby 'Brussels bar'. It was a 7 minute walk to main metro, Montparnasse Bienvenue, although there are closer ones with fewer links. (The nearest one, Edgar Quinet, 2 mins walk away, has direct line to Charles de Gaulle Etoile (Arc de Triomphe) and to the Eiffel Tower.)

Wardrobe space could have been better and there were no facilities for making hot drinks - take a travel kettle. The ad stated air conditioning, but this was only available May onwards, and our room got very hot at night. But at least the windows opened (which I had to do during the night at times ,as it was too warm to sleep comfortably).Only had CNN on the satellite channels - all other programmes in French. We'd recommend that you request a room away from the main street, as weekend nights can be noisy.

We spent 6 nights in Hotel (2 adults, 4 year old child). Staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was typical parisian (croissant, baquette, coffee). Room was a bit small (superior triple, 6th floor), but in good condition. There wasn't no noise at all, but may be we had quite quiet neighbours. I got a glimpse on other rooms, while coming down the stairs. One of them (single standard, I guess) looked quite worn out, so the superior might be good choice. Location was good (Montparnasse bienvenue & Edgar Quinet subway stations nearby) in lively area. Overall I think, that it was very good value for money.
(3304226140)

Internet-access to rooms would be very nice addition. There seems to be proper cabling already.
