The siting of the hotel at services was convenient for me as i had a young child to cater for, and to be able to purchase anything that i had forgotten to bring with me was easy. My room was comfortable, clean and met my requirements.

It was not explained to me that though i had given my payment details online, and again when i checked-in, payment was not actually made until checking-out. I felt this was a little confusing though not a problem.

There were just a few details I would like to have known, but they would have been easy to ask as the hotel was responsive to phone calls. Our stay was very short but entirely satisfactory. Good choice of TV channels included Sky Sports. Movie options but no time to view. Adjacent eatery had big choice of fast food outlets but was closed by 11:30pm. ( perhaps reasonable, as the Shell station was a few minutes away and open 24/7.) (97517559)

Spacious room with good bathroom and bed. Hotel was easy to locate just off main A14 highway. Checked in very late, but it was easy and greeting friendly.Parking near by and safe.

All eating places closed, but not fault of the hotel. A few options to purchase such as biscuits, chocolate, drinking chocolate from a vending machine would be nice.

Overall, very good value for money compared to other hotels in the area. Pricing per room preferable to pricing per person. (97631405)

Poor housekeeping. Soap dispenser empty in shower.Not vacuumed around waste bin where dust on carpet evident. Mirror doors on hanging space uncleaned.(light from window showed uncleaned smears.

This hotel was just what I expected it to be. It is situated on a service station on the A14, easy to get to with convenient parking. Being on a service station it is quite a way from the city centre and it is impossible to get anywhere other than by car or taxi. A taxi into Cambridge cost us £15. The room had tea making facilities and there was a choice of fast food outlets adjacent to the hotel. Despite it's situation it was a quiet place to stay. The room was large and clean. I thought the accomodation was good value for money, however the attached venue for food and refreshments though clean, seemed to offer only a variety of fast food. It would be nice to have the opportunity to eat more healthily! (3007412)
