dans l'ensemble j'ai trouvé cet hotel pas mal du tout sauf au niveau du lit qui était très inconfortable. le petit dejeuner je n'y ai pas gouter malheureusement car c'était très cher par rapport a mon budget, le cadre est très jolie et biensur la possibilité de se garer en sécurité.sans oublier qu'il y a une piscine a laquelle je n'ai pas pu gouter, hors saison, quel dommage! Suited our needs for a weekend visit to Avignon. Food: evening menus limited, breakfast sufficient. Room was pleasant but toilet area only suitable for a child (too small) needed to sit sidesadle on loo.Parking facilities and security vgood. The location of the hotel is in a bad area of town and requires an automatic gate for security. It is too far from the historic area of Avignon. Overall, the hotel was dirty and needs to be improved drastically. There were black hairs on the bedspread and on the floor. There was no refridgerator in the room or minibar. The decor needs to be upgraded. The paint and furniture choices were unappealing (hunter green trim, maroon doors, bright yellow bedspread,...yuck!) This hotel should be re-classified as a 1 star. A quiet and friendly hotel a bus ride away from the centre of Avignon.Travelling without a car meant I had to use public transport or taxis to get to the centre of Avignon.The location of this hotel is far from the centre and I had not realised this when I booked as I like to walk around the city at night but this was not easy. Buses run frequently through the day but not later in the evening so it is necessary to get a cab back for 8€. I was advised by the taxi driver not to walk in the area at night as it is not safe....and looking at the run down quarter with high rise flats I could see his point,but this did not affect a truly pleasant stay in a comfortable hotel. The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. The rooms are clean and adequate. Breakfast offers a variety of cereals,fresh fruit and pains. At breakfast coffee is served in thermos and has that distinctive taste which I find disappointing,but it is possible to have fresh coffee from the bar for an extra 3€. The breakfast is laid out as a buffet and it is possible to help oneself to as much or as little as you wish. The swimming pool with loungers is a plus and very restful. The menu for dinner in the restaurant is adequate but not an adventure of French cuisine. On the whole this hotel offers a relaxed,friendly and pleasant environment for either a solo traveller,a family or couple and I would stay there again. (2643797)

The hotel was perfectly acceptable for an overnight stay. We were grateful to the receptionist for telling us that the best way into Avignon was by bus, but would have been grateful if she had told us that the last bus leaves Avignon quite early in the evening. We struggled to find a taxi (train station!). The only real issue was that the hot water for tea the next morning was luke warm! (2445837)
