Excellent position close enough to Calais to walk to the centre where there are one or two very good restaurants; the splendid beach and dunes are just across the road and I consider it good value for money.
(107264263)

Excellent male member of staff at check in. Proximity to Calais centre. Easy access to Channel Tunnel. Adequate accommodation.

The twin bedded room was small with very little light and the bathroom was in need of a little refurbishment around the tiles. Extremely noisy in the morning when other patrons leaving early (dragging suitcases along corridor and banging doors) with little respect for others not having to rise so early.

Only bad comment is that the wooden floor was a bit sticky...I think it needed a good cleaning with a mop!

Thoroughly enjoyed.

Central location to Ferry Terminal, Eurotunnel & Cite Europe.
Staff helpful. Good choice of meals in restaurant. Pleasant surroundings for evening walk. Comfortable room. Plenty of car parking. Tea/coffee making facilities in room which we didn't have in any other hotels where we stayed in France.

Bar closes with restaurant at about 10.30. No lift.

(97234031)

Service, and restaurant as well as dinner were very good. Staff very friendly and helpful

bathroom could do with a coat of paint as very mouldy in lots of places. Temperature very cold and heating in the room not adequate and very little heat from small storage heater.
Keith from Shenstone, GB (Mature couple) 03 March 2008
It may already be given on the site, but it may be appropriate to give the length of time it would normally take a person to walk to the town.
(97692290)

Excellent stay, no complaints whatsoever.
Great position for beach.

A little distance away from town. (Minor observation)

Not informed if a lift was available, a more wider selsction for breakfast and disabled parking available at the entrance of the hotel.
Very impressed with location of hotel, will come back with the children next time just so they can play on the beach. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Food, staff were very friendly even with the language barrier

john from cheltenham, GB (Group of adult friends) 06 November 2007
The hotel is in an excellent position on the sea front and easily accesible from ferries and eurotunnel. It is vey handy for Cite Europe.
All needs are catered for with restaurant on site serving excellent meals although it did close a little early (10 pm)As we were on an overnight stay it would have been nice to be able to stay and have drink after we had eaten.
As seen in previous reviews please can the hotel provide proper cups for tea.coffee in the room as the plastic ones are just not appropriate.
Overall though just waht we needed for our shopping trip.
(97301666)

Position within Calais , excellent restaurant and value for money

Carol from Harwich, Essex, GB (Mature couple) 30 April 2007
We have used this hotel in the past and it is in a convenient position with parking facilities. However, I do think a few little extras would make a difference. We only had one towel each, there was only one tea bag each and cheap plastic cups. The room was not particularly clean (the bed and sheets where fine) and over the past few years we feel we have watched the rooms deteriorate.
(99197485)

The accomodation is well situated and very useful as we like to walk to our favorite restaurant along the beach.

The room was very basic.
laura from coventry, GB (Family with young children) 27 April 2007
