Location was good for Birimingham Centre

The bedroom was obviously refurbished but still old and plain. The Bathroom spelt awful (of urine) and the flush on the toilet was broken. The bed was uncomfortable and the hotel was noisy most of the night with people coming and going.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful even though they were very busy and I'm assuming shortstaffed in the restaurant. Admittedly dissapointed that the bar shut at 11pm after all it is a hotel (97013393)

Overall, Campanile normally offer a good stay for a good price. However, some of their sites are looking 'a bit worse for wear' now, & I think that the group need to re-invest some money into sprucing up their hotels. (97857158)

Staff friendly & Helpful, restaurant & food very nice.

We were placed on the ground floor and found it very noisy due to the nightclubbers returning after 4am - would not put us off returning.

The hotel was functional for our weekend stay and provided a good base in which to visit Birmingham centre. (97850247)

lovley and clean

In general our stay was OK, easy to find (Using Sat Nav) room was small but confortable - however you need to look at the pillow they were just too soft and spriny. Staff were great, however English would be a launguage they should be able to speak with ease. (99087998)

The staff were on the whole polite and helpful although at times I felt like an inconvenience to certain staff members. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel was located in a rough area although it is only £7 in a taxi to the main bars and restaurants in the centre of Birmingham. (99506669)

I liked the fact the beds had duvets on instead of blankets, they were very comfortable. I also felt safe and secure in my room due to the hotel's security procedures.

I found my room was small.

on arrival we were allocated a room which had not been cleaned, the bed linen and towels were dirty, and the room was generally untidy. We complained to reception and were allocated another room. (99844264)

This hotel is in a prime location and in easy reach to Birmingham City Centre and has good access to the motorway. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel prices were ok, i would use this hotel again. Also one excellent thing that impressed me was after a certain time in the evening the gate closes and you are given a security code to get back in to the carpark. Poor quality food in the restaurant. Hotel Bar that does not accomodate residents after standard pub hours.

Did not get requested alarm call, which could have had dire results

On arrival at the hotel we were checked in by a very nice friendly girl took credit card details and gave me keys for room. I had dinner in the restraunt and again served by two very friendly members of staff.Bar staff were friendly. room was fine but needed a freshen up in my opinion also t.v. channels were few eg sports. If i were back in birmingham this week again iwould still stay at the hotel even with my all my gripes . (99419716)

Location - further from the main shopping area & museums than I had expected and in an area that didn't feel especially friendly for walking, particularly towards the end of the day - I would like to have run after work, but as a woman it didn't feel quigte safe.

Breakfast dishes were collected before we had finished, we had gone to get coffee/tea and the table was cleared, also check out was at noon but the room was cleaned whilst our bags etc were still inside, hence we used the clean towels etc. Apart from that we had a good stay and would use the hotel again.
