The reception and bar were nice, first impressions were good. Staff friendly and welcoming. Bed was really really comfortable!

The bathroom could have been nicer, a little more care could have been taken with finishing touches. Ceilngs in room looked out of place and old fashioned compared to the rest of the room.

Handy for Victoria mainline railway station; staff helpful with luggage storage during the day; friendly and helpful staff overall. Tea making facilities good.

No spare pillow in room. Reception area noisy i.e. no sound deadening material so echoes a lot when people talk. Therefore the bar is sometimes a bit unpleasant to sit reading.

The staff member who greeted us was exceptional: she made us feel welome and very comfortable. The room was large and well-appointed and exceeded our expectations. This was our second time in the area in two years; next time we will stay at this hotel for a longer period.

This was the most postive experience I have had in a UK hotel or bed-and breakfast in some time.

I was not aware of the restaurant before booking. Although few people were eating in it, we had a good well-cooked meal that we enjoyed. I thought that the hotel was good value for money. I would llike to have known what having a single room meant in terms of size. I found the space quite cramped and I am not sure for the price I paid, that I could not have gotten a larger room! I was offered no options in room choice. The room was clean, the mattress was excellent, the breakfast was supreme, the service was friendly and helpful and the location ideal. The hotel was near Victoria Station, but located on a fairly quiet street near Eccleston Square. The location and quietness were very desirable. The mattress was new and very comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic and the service very friendly.

My single room was very small, being less than half the size of a regular room and the bath was extremely cramped.

I have noted that the staff where only fair, of the two duty managers that i met one was most unhelpful, the other (Tom) was excellent. The staff in the restaurant performed their duties well. (3304563699)

It was convenient to Victoria Station, where we left for Gatwick. Itw as also convenient to the rest of London, so we could spend the two hours available to us in sightseeing.

Rooms were small, and the cost was high compared to what we normally spend in the U.S. (although not high by European standards)

The foyer of the hotel was promising and the staff were fine. We had bar food on the first evening which was excellent as were both breakfasts. I felt my room and those of my colleagues were overdue a paint job and general re-decoration. There was also a particularly bad smell in one of my colleagues room. (3304172653)
