Hotel was mostly clean, tidy and well provisioned. Staff were helpful, polite and friendly.

Room was small. there appeared to be space and fittings for a fridge - BUT NO FRIDGE. Bathroom floor tiles were loose - the grout between (in front of the loo) was discoloured and when the adjacent tiles were trodden on a reddish brown liquid like dried blood appeared!!!!!!!!!!!!! Reception and Housekeeping did not answer the phone when i called to report the faults from the room phone!!!!

Poor housekeeping - phoned to get items replenished but after two separate phone calls they still failed to materialise. Maybe we were just unlucky this time!

Hotel is difficult to locate by road - even though the written directions are accurate. It would help considerably if a sign indicating the turn-off (Sipson Way) to the hotel were placed on the main road. The other 2 Hioliday Inns I visited while trying to find the correct one looked very nice too. The staff were friendly and gave the impression of 'having time' to deal with customers. Since I was staying overnight in transit to travel the next day from Heathrow airport, the close location of Holiday Inn Heathrow was very practical. An added advantage was the shuttle buses every 15 minutes to and from Heathrow airport.

This hotel is very new and clean and near heathrow, and expensive. Staff are friendly and efficient. Room facilities work fine. Food in the restaurant is average quality but overpriced. Rooms can be noisy, more from inside noise (people in corridors) than outside (it's very well sound-proofed from the outside). Use the free bus from the front to get to/from the airport, they leave more frequently than the expensive Hotel Hoppa. Fine hotel if someone else is footing the bill. (99903268)
