Cleanliness/smell of stale smoke in the room + damp.

It was a nice and satisfactory stay. The location is great, quiet, elegant and very practical for accessing all kinds of London transport. The hotel compensates the relative smallness of its rooms by his other excellent features, it (3304990066)

The rooms are a bit small

If you are looking for a clean, family room in Central London, at a sensible price I can recommend the Annandale. The room had TV, ensuite shower and air conditioning. The price also includes a full English Breakfast - something to consider when comparing prices. The room was, admittedly, a tad small, with little room for manoeuvre once the bed-settee was down, but Hey in London you are only in the room to sleep! (3304184879)

Cleanliness is essential for any accommodation, and the Annandale was extremely so. Plus the room had air conditionin - a Godsend!.

I got a single room at the top floor, lots of narrow stairs. Small room, but clean and nicely decorated. Comfortable bed. Small but very clean bathroom. Really quiet area with lots of restaurants, hotels and food stores nearby. I slept with an open window for three nights and heard no noise at all. Very friendly staff, I heard the phrase no problems more than once. Nice breakfast served at your table. I've stayed at £200 hotels which where at the same level as Allandale. (2947038)
