It was nice and close to the Royal Albert Hall. Fairly reasonable price for the area. The receptionist was polite and friendly and the check in was quick and efficient. Room was clean and had everything I needed for an overnight stay. Overall, very happy

The location is great and the outside of the building and the entrance look good.

The rooms were very old fashioned with stains on the carpet and moist stains on the ceilings. Not important, but the promised towel warmers did not work. The breakfast did not include ham or cheese; those could be bought separately but I think it should be included standard.

I would have appreciated knowing the dimensions of the single room accomodation. Being used to staying in double rooms, it came as a shock to discover just how narrow and confined the actual space a single room provided. The staff were found to be personable, courteous and professional throughout my stay. They were also particularly helpful and provided practical advice to visitors not acquainted with the vaguries of the London Transport system. The dining room / breakfast room was servicable and clean. This was complimented by an efficient and pleasant team of waitresses. Overall, my stay was acceptable. I found that the hotel was a reasonable and quiet and environment in which to spend an overnight stay at a very reasonable tarrif. (97362087)

The reputation of the Hotel Company was a determining factor in my choice of accommodation. I had previous experience of the Hotel Group during my previous visits to Australia and New Zealand. The location of the Kensington Plaza was important since it offered my being in close proximity to where my friend's were residing in London.The hotel was also close to an Underground station with direct links to Kings Cross & St Pancras stations.The hotel lounge was particularly welcoming and inviting and provided an opportunity to escape my single room which was somewhat claustrophobic in its dimensions.

My single room was a little narrow but, since I was only staying the one night,it was sufficient in that all the usual facilities were provided.

I would like to have knbown that the bottle of water placed at my bedside was not complimentary as I had assumed. Furthermore £2.50 for a bottle of that size was, I feel rather exorbitant. (99033249)

Everywhere was clean and in good decorative order. The bed was comfortable.

The room was far too small. The length of the bed being the width of the room and sighted beside the window making drawing the curtains difficult.

For our purposes, a one night stay in London, this hotel was ideal. Very pleasant reception and public areas, reception staff friendly and obliging. Also, for Central London, value for money. (99247592)

Bedroom window would not stay open. Would have liked more choice for breakfast ie. cold meats and cheeses which are normal in a Continental breakfast. Croissants poor.

Overall, it was good value for money, had a good location for what we wanted to do (Kensington Palace, shopping around Knightsbridge and Sloanes Square. (99794801)

The staff here are extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotless and comfortable. As an infrequent traveller to London, I was frequently disorientated when exiting tube stations. Directions to the hotel could include the now obvious information that one walks 50m left upon exiting the Gloucester Rd tube station. (3304903637)

My room was very small

A traditional hotel situated close to the Knightsbridge shops and museums. The bar is a little small but has a happy hour in the early evening. The bathrooms were very clean and the shower effective. We were impressed by the quality of the towelling bathrobes. (3304740825)

Both rooms were very clean and in good decoartive order with pleasant colour schemes. The single room was definitely 'compact' Our rooms overlooked the main road and the secondary double glazing was missing from one of the windows of the double room, which meant we were disturbed by excessive street noise. The water supply to the cold tap in the basin did not work and it took two requests to reception before the problem was resolved. (3304346966)
