OK but I've had much better value for money elsewhere

The shower was very powerful.

The matress on the bed was lumpy and very uncomfortable. Breakfast coffee was cold and the choice of breakfast foods was limited. My ordered paper did not arrive.

Disappointed with the poor state of rooms, but thought the bar food was good value and breakfast was excellent. Would not stay at the hotel again, unless provided a roomy, well decorated room.

Quite good food in the bar/restaurant. Courteous staff. Sizeable pool in leisure centre area.

Very poor decorative order throughout hotel room areas. Rooms in poor condition, badly in need of refurbishment. Linen on beds torn and overworn. Blankets on beds with holes in them. Mildew and mould in bathroom area. Parking congested as leisure centre heavily used by non residents and hotel guests not provided with any designated, dedicated parking area.

Small rooms
Hard and old bed - should have been condemned
Do not accept a basement room - they are dire

Leisure facilities were good

Hotel needs overhaul. Rooms were small and they seemed unconcerned that water was coming down the wall and over a li=ve electrical socket!

I liked the swimming pool, that was very nice to enjoy after been on the road for a while.

I felt the accommodation was OK but I felt that the room and the corridoors could do with a lick of paint. The room also smelt funny but apart from that it was ok.

Overall this was a good stay. The hotel is clean, warm and has friendly staff in the main. The excellent Leisure complex, and reasonable price are the big selling points. Adding a simple inexpensive Breakfast into the equation would be very beneficial, as would be the facility to have breakfast from say 6am onwards for early travellers. The room was small for a double, but clean and adequate, and the inclusion of Hot Chocolate in the Tea and Coffee making facility was a welcome suprise. It was badly let down by the rather Worn Bathroom fixtures and fittings. Food in the combined Costa's, Bar area was well presented and quite reasonable in both price and quality, but the Menu was rather limited and would have benefitted from even just one or two more Staple choices. The set Menu only varied in the choice of Soup of the Day during the three days of my stay, but was reasonable value at

The Hotel Leisure suit is excellent.

1)Rather worn and shabby bathroom fittings. 2)Restricted menu with NO information on Breakfast pricing! 3)Not set up in terms of Breakfast or Check out for someone leaving at 6am!

Overall the stay was very good......staff were pleasent/helpful however, rooms with the shower and toilet in the same room, with no partition is not so good (Room 311)!! You have a showewr but,if you need to go back in the room (if nature calls) it's like going into the swimming baths!!Very wet Oh forgot to say,the breakfast is fantastic!! you have such a range of foods to choose from.......fried/cereal/fruit and drinks!! The rooms are very accommodating, all the usual goodies ie: Hair dryer.sachets of shampoo.....I'm I the only one to forget things!! They are comfortable and the hotel being in a easy location, makes it easy to locate for the less travelled persons!!

The equipment in the room needs to be checked daily or every other day as the hair dryer burnt out when switched on......The menu could be updated to contain more of a choice of foods.......ul be onto a winner!!

We enjoyed the leisure facilities

Why was it not possible as we requested to replace the bulb in the ebd side light?

Considering the price, the locality and the length of our stay our accomodation was adequate. However, I do feel the room could do with being updated or even just cleaned/new coat of paint on walls to make it brighter and exceptable. Staff were pleasent and helped when we needed it. I would like to stay here again but I feel other Hotels may other better value for money.

Cheap, and good position in manchester. Good distance between manchester city centre and relatives home. Informative staff and pleasent, helpful.

overall i was disapointed about the state of our room. i was not disappointed about anything else about our accomodation. 1. the walls were dirty and could do with a lick of paint 2. Carpet had iron marks on it. 3. Ceiling had what appeared to be cigarette burns on it 4. The coat hook in the bathroom hanging off screw 5. toilet seat came apart, but I managed to put it back into place. 6. Bathroom could do with a lick of paint.

Room was too clean and the staff were very slow

We were in a very small double room on the lower ground floor which barely had enough room for us to walk around the bed. Though that wasn't so much an issue as we were only using it to sleep after a friend's party. We did have an ant problem in the bathroom though and complained to the hotel staff who did offer us the use of another room before we checked out.

It was in a convenient location and was an attractive hotel. We didn't used the leisure facilities but they looked very good.

The room was quite small.

Checking the amount on the bill. We were undercharged despite drawing the fact to the attention of the staff

Overall very good, particularly the price. My room was very cold though a fan heater was provided which was no good in the middle of the night because it was loud. My internal phone did not work and I could have done with another blanket, but I survived!!
(3304149325)

Good value for money. Good leisure facilities for the price. No obligation to take breakfast.

My internal phone did not work
