Poor
Steven from alicante, ES (Mature couple) 12 April 2008

Hotel was ant infested and only an owner attempt to clear the infestation was done - no professional removal of the infestation was done. (97715527)

No overall comment. (97769941)

positive comments It was clean, tidy, full tea/coffee facilities (which is well needed after a hard days travelling), had exactly what an overnight stay needed.
negative comments Nothing at all, my one small dislike was that it could have been slightly warmer but it was on the cusp of a very very unexpected cold spell which no-one would have seen coming, so I just got under the very warm duvet on the very large bed :-)

Generally, the hotel was fine and remarkably quiet considering it is on the flight path to Manchester airport. The car park is a little small so if you have a long car prepare for a lot of manoeuvres! It was also the first time I've been served tea in a jug, tasted ok though! (99908612)

positive comments Friendly staff
negative comments Remote location

I had the impression that the hotel is a very good hotel but it is managed badly. The room was very unclean. The kettle was partially full of old water and there were black and yellow spots in it. The television set was covered by the dust. The sink in the toilet was very unclean. The soap was already opened (but not used). The person in the reception has not been nice. For example (and I could add more), she asked me whether I wanted a taxi and when I answered that I wanted to think about it she watched me like to say: don't you have the money for a taxi? BTW: she never smiled. (99929667)

positive comments The room was very big and very beautiful
negative comments The room was very unclean
